The Brightgreen DR700 is a LED retrofit MR16 bulb with a total light output of 720 lumens, the same as the average 50W halogen according to the Department of Climate Change and Energy Efficiency. The difference is that the DR700 uses only 10.5 Watts!
DR700 works with all 12V transformers currently on the market and dims down to 0% of its original light output. Simply remove your existing MR16 halogen and replace with the DR700.

Review by MARK HODSON (Posted on Wednesday 01 August, 2012)These are notably brighter than the 4 year old 12v 50w Dichroic's they replaced. Being used on a 10 foot ceiling and even at that height there better than the old ones. Currently running on the old iron transformers Ok but am replacing them with the Philips ET-S 60 as the old transformers are showing signs of past heat damage. The light colour is whiter than the old Dichroic without being too harsh and being used in a kitchen area. Strongly recommend these for replacing existing globes. MCH62
