There are a lot of different LED globes available now and all of them are designed to replace existing lamps and globes with a specific base or end cap.

Bayonet and Edison Screw base globes are more common than others used in commercial lighting applications. There are numerous different sizes available also, so following the type of base, will also be a number representing the size of the base.

For example, a B22 base stands for Bayonet with 22mm diameter base.
